INTERFACE TO MINITAB STATISTICAL SOFTWARE

Leaders in Six Sigma Software Collaborate to Deliver New Productivity Enhancements

PORTLAND, Ore.- February 9, 2004-iGrafx announced today it has released a
new version of its iGrafx® Process? 2003 for Six Sigma product to support Release 14 of
MINITAB® Statistical Software for Windows. Now, users of both products can leverage the
latest innovations from two leading providers of Six Sigma software. This release of iGrafx
Process 2003 for Six Sigma extends the benefits delivered to Six Sigma professionals through
the partnership of iGrafx and Minitab.
With the new interface to MINITAB 14, users of iGrafx Process 2003 for Six Sigma and
MINITAB can:

Query MINITAB for appropriate experimental designs
Conduct full factorial experiments in iGrafx and automatically return results to
MINITAB
Use MINITAB's powerful data fitting capabilities to accurately set up simulation
models
Automatically export the factors and responses of multiple simulation
experiments to MINITAB
Export from iGrafx Process 2003 to MINITAB for analysis of all of the raw
simulation data for each simulated transaction

MINITAB Release 14 includes expanded and simplified graph creation and editing;

customizable menus, toolbars, and settings for creating shareable profiles.
