Understanding Process to Drive Resiliency

As the world deals with the pandemic of COVID-19, businesses are united in focusing on Business Continuity and Resiliency. They are learning that identifying and understanding their key strategic processes is crucial, and that being able to align those processes to their corporate business architecture is invaluable.  It enables enterprises to clearly see which processes are of most strategic importance, and which people, processes, and technology are needed to effectively maintain or restore service.

Recently we had a chance to speak with Carl Lehman, Principal Analyst at 451 Research. In that conversation, we asked Carl to explain:

  • How does understanding process help with resiliency?
  • What are Control Processes and how would you define them?

Take a look at the video below to hear what he had to say.

If you would like to learn more about Business Continuity, be sure to register for our webinar on April 14th as iGrafx CTO, Ed Maddock explains specific use cases related to how a clearly defined business model, focused on process, can provide visibility and the strategy needed to ensure resiliency.
