A successful year comes to an end – iGrafx says thank you!

The final weeks of the year are always a time for reflection and review, and this year was particularly action-packed, with quite a bit to reflect on.

Right out of the gate, on January 21st we announced our highest performance, easiest to implement and most cost-effective platform version in company history, with simple, user-based licensing and powerful cloud options.  An overarching iGrafx goal is to make the experience of purchasing and using our solutions frictionless, and this was a big step.  Very recently, in October, we took another giant step forward when we made the iGrafx Core Edition available for smaller organizations and for initial implementations in the largest companies.

Soon after, to help enterprises around the world prepare for the European Union’s enforcement of the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we launched our GDPR suite.  The age of data privacy enforcement is here, and the GDPR in Europe and the pending CCPA in California are only the crest of the wave that is about to hit.  In June, we were happy to share the news that we’d become GDPR compliant ourselves, using the very tools that we’re positioning for our customers.  We take data privacy extremely seriously and realize that becoming compliant is only the first step, and that remaining compliant is the crucial and ongoing follow-through that our tool makes easy.  We doubled down on this in November when we became SOC-2 compliant, passing on the first try, again using our own solution to manage the process and ease auditing.

Later this summer we announced that we’d added three new members to our senior leadership team:  Mark Bednarski, VP Product, Michael Nyman, VP Engineering and Mike Constantelo, VP North American Sales.  Our global leadership team is now as solid as it has ever been in our 27-year history, and the mix of long-time industry experience, coupled with fresh vision from outside the industry, is proving to be incredibly synergistic.

From a customer and partner perspective, we’re proud to brag that Dexus, one of Australia’s leading property groups, became a customer, and that Gulf Business Machines (GBM), a leading IBM solutions provider in the United Arab Emirates, became a partner.  There is no other business process transformation company that can match the breadth, depth and global reach of iGrafx.

On top of all that, we made a significant effort over the year to create and share meaningful content with you, in the way of almost 100 new blog posts, articles and whitepapers, as well as a by-subscription-only newsletter called the Transformation Weekly.  I hope you’re enjoying it.

Next year won’t let up at all in terms of the speed and urgency with which we’ll be hitting milestones and bringing new value to market for you.  iGrafx has long been the backbone of the CoE, and early next year, we’ll explain how we’re revolutionizing robotic process automation (RPA) discovery, prioritization, design and change management.  At the same time, we’ll tell you about several exciting new partnerships and we’ll share the stories of some of the significant new customers who have come on board over the last year.  Finally, we’ll announce our new-and-improved customer conference that will take place 4/22-4/24 in Dallas (save the date)!

Have a wonderful holiday and a fantastic new year.

Cheers,

Ryan
